Each year, Mary Bird Perkins – Our Lady of the Lake Cancer Center and Cancer Services of Greater Baton Rouge come together to host “The Gala,” a Baton Rouge fundraising event to support those impacted by cancer.  This year, The Gala Goes Global!   

Last year, MBP planned an internal reveal for the Gala theme, and it was a wild success.  It created a sense of energy and excitement they had not yet encountered in Gala history.  So, this year, they wanted to capitalize on that momentum with a fresh approach.

Our solution: The Gala Goes Global teaser campaign comprised of 5 short videos teasing the gala theme, cultivating a sense of anticipation, and promoting the event.  MBP unveiled the videos on multiple platforms over the course of a week, leading up to a grand reveal. 

With a theme like “The Gala Goes Global,” the sky was literally the limit, so our creative team took to BTR airport for inspiration and location.  Viewers followed an anxious couple en route to the airport, where they run into problems and pleasant surprises with little clues about The Gala theme highlighted along the way.
